The congregation of FACJC found its beginnings at a 1955 tent revival on the south-side of Johnson City,Tennessee. From those early days, a congregation was established which continues today many decades later. FACJC has been blessed tremendously through the years, moving to our current location in 1988 dedicating a newly constructed facility for FACJC at 123 Emmanuel Drive.

First Apostolic Church of Johnson City (FACJC) holds a strong belief in the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith, emphasizing a Oneness view of God, the importance of water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the necessity of receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe in the authority of the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God, guiding our beliefs and practices. Additionally, FACJC stresses the need for holy living and separation from worldly influences, promoting a lifestyle that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ. Overall, what FACJC believes is rooted in our commitment to biblical truths and the pursuit of spiritual growth and transformation.
